The Bearded Collie Club of America was founded in 1969. Main objectives of the club are to protect the health and well being of the breed, promote ethical breeding of Bearded Collies, and to conduct specialty shows and herding trials. A quarterly publication, The Beardie Bulletin, contains breed articles and many advertisements promoting members' dogs and/or kennels (with many pictures). The BCCA Homepage has been active since October 1997.
